Awarenss, is so freaking imporant.
I really can’t talk about this subject enough. Awareness is the first line of defense in protecting ourselves from harm. It isn’t very hard to do, but most people don’t even have a clue so much so that they fall into fountains or walk into walls looking at their phones instead of the world around them.
Remember that if you look like an easy target to the bad guy, the bad guy might very well escalate to violence of some sort. So do yourself a favor and put your phone away while your in public. If you have to take the call or send the text, stop walking, lean against a wall, and look around while your talking or texting. This will make you appear more aware and less of a target.
