The woman mentioned in the article needs a medal or some sort of recognition given. She fought back in a big way. She grabbed the testicles of one of the men when she saw him, knocked him to the ground, and choked him. Then she tried to shoot the other man who invaded her home. This was a very serious situation because it was 2 on 1 and in her home, with her child present. All I can say is WOW and great job.
There is not much she did wrong in this situation. I am wondering however, how the guy who grabbed her from behind got in the house. Did she lock the doors? Did he walk in or bust his way in? We are not told, and at any rate she did what she had to do. What would you do in this situation? Would you freeze and give them what they want or would you fight? I would hope you would fight. If this lady didn’t fight, it wasn’t going to end well for her at all.
This is a sober reminder that this can happen in our homes and that we need to be ready now. To be ready now we must train, practice and have the right mind set.
